Centreville Immigration Forum and Centreville Labor Resource Center
The Centreville Immigration Forum (CIF) is a community volunteer group in Centreville, Virginia. The Forum discusses immigration and diversity in the Centreville area, and works to build strong community through bringing neighbors together. Participants in the Forum support a variety of services for immigrants, including English instruction. The Forum aims to improve the health and safety of all residents in the Centreville area. The Forum opened the Centreville Labor Resource Center (CLRC), a worker center, on December 5, 2011.

November 2013
Meyer Foundation announces a $15,000 grant to Centreville Immigration Forum! The grant will support job development and training CLRC workers in 2014. Winter is a great time to complete those indoor jobs - painting, renovations in kitchen and bath. Call the Center for experienced workers! September 2013 Green Garden Box Project – Helping you plant wisely, this box is quite tidy, building your garden less costly: filled with bountiful beauty. The Centreville Labor Resource Center’s Green Box project is both a fundraiser for the CLRC and a training and job creation project for our workers. Workers learn valuable carpentry skills and workplace safety while creating good quality, chemical free, eco-friendly garden boxes (hence the name “Green” Box). |
