Second Annual International Dance Festival, 2012
Announcement
Don't miss the Second Festival, this Friday, April 27 from 7-10pm. It will take place at the Centreville Volunteer Fire Station #17, 5856 Old Centreville Road, in the second floor hall (handicapped accessible). There is no admission charge, though donations will be gladly accepted.
This Festival will be bigger and better than ever.
The dance performances this year will be very special, with contributions from many Centreville-area families, sharing their own traditions, including
There will be a surprise international clown act.
Dinner and snacks will be for sale all evening, including a big hotdog bar (with a wide selection of trimmings), egg rolls, a sweet rice drink from Guatemala, and, of course, lots of "American" snacks!!
Traditional Guatemala crafts and a silent auction with special one-of-a-kind gifts will help you find just the right thing for Mothers Day!
We will also have one special craft item on display, a rain barrel painted by arrangement with a Guatemalan artist. Learn where and how to get and make rain barrels. Get yours painted, too...to your specifications!!
